One is required to make the right decisions as to whom will they become allied with and who will be the enemy. The player has to cope in these hard times, engaging into fights and political intrigues that affect the world. This is why Bodo is an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and why I am extremely angry that I can't just kill him again.The story campaign focuses on the events from the second half of the 9th century, when the sons of a Nordic leader Ragnar Lodbrok organized non-coordinated plundering expeditions to the kingdoms of the eastern Britain (those belonged to Angles and Saxons) over several years.
Since I am still a 'Danish' warlord, and wanted to join my party, he has basically joined his sworn enemy and betrayed all of his beliefs. He comes back from the dead, forgets that he hated me and that he tried to kill me, acts like my best friend and even complains about my actually loyal companions.

After the next few ingame months of me fighting on the viking side and becomming a "Warlord" in their army, I was sent to make peace with the Cantabrian reinforcements that Bodo didn't want the Danes to know about. He even caused a few of my other compainions to leave my party. Bodo then called me a traitor and a liar, and all around raged. Over the course of the next few ingame weeks, we repeated the same conversation around 3 times and I made it clear that I am on the side of the Danes, but when it finally came to making my decision, I once again said what my plan is. I immediately told him that my plan is to give the letter to the vikings, but he replied with something like "We'll speak in a bit, we've got to keep moving". After he explained his mission about delivering an important letter to the Kingdom of West Seaxe and making sure it does not fall into the hands of the vikings, he gave me 2 options to either take it to the Danes or the Saxons. Number 3: Talking to him is like talking to a wall. Number 2: He and his 'Odins' Cave Glitch' made half of the players have to restart their campaign, and forced the other half to wait for around a week before they could continue with the story. He is the reason why Sven Bull Neck and his vikings killed almost the entire ship crew and kidnapped my mother. Number 1: He is responsible for the slaughter on the ship 'Woden Ric'.
