I took the rear sight and "rail" (for decoration), from the Combat Shotgun, and also enlarged the front sight a bit. I decided that, since I'd been dabbling about with mesh editing, and starting to get my bearings on how to do this properly, I'd give it a shot. And despite Obsidian adding in ADS to New Vegas, they did not edit the 10mm SMG mesh to include them. That problem was that, in Fallout 3, since there wasn't any ADS, the rear sight was never modeled. A problem that's lead me to use it less than I did in Fallout 3. But ever since I first played New Vegas, I found a problem with it. Optional TTW/WMIM version with Sydney's Ultra 10mm SMG, and the Pre-War one in Operation: Anchorage.

I can't believe that there are no conventional assault rifles whatsoever in the base game. The grotesuque hybrid of the Maxim and the MAS AA-52 shouldn't be considered an assault rifle. The Thompson in the game looks like a 6-year old drew it from memory and had his 3D-modelling uncle with poor eyesight use it as a reference. It makes way more sense to see those weapons than the fuckin Volkssturm. More American WW2 guns like the BAR, Browning HP and M1911 in general would be better. Instead I'm just here using this deformed PPSH abomination.
There should have been a way to obtain an M1 Garand.
Iconic Fallout staples like the 10mm SMG and the DKS-501 is gone because the stupid modular upgrade system(which shouldn't have existed in the first place) makes them redundant.Ĭome on, there's a WW2 poster in the game. The fact that Arturo's stand had images of it and that's just flat out insulting. There is not a single pump-action shotgun in the entirety of Boston despite Nuka World raiders carrying AK-patterned rifles.
